That saying that goes, opportunity is missed by most because it’s dressed in overalls and looks like hard work. Well, that saying is exactly what it says on the tin. You will not get if you do not give.
2 things you must give to ensure you succeed are
Be Consistent
Much like at school, university, at college or in the corporate world, you don’t wait for a thing to be done, you do it because it is what you are expected to do for that day. Do the same in your business. Work on the thing that needs to be worked on without fail as this is a big part of being successful.
Remember, even if your business has been up and running for years, never stop thinking about refining old ideas and coming up with new ones. Never stop researching and taking a look at the competition. Keep learning and refining your business consistently.
Being consistent will guarantee you grow and edge closer to your goals. Also, even if you are doing what you love and need little to ignite your commitment, if you work in spits and spurts, you will not succeed or success will be slow to come.
Have a System
All around us there are systems at work that make life run smoothly. In your business develop your own systems to make life run smoothly. Set down rules and follow them and do not run for A to F to Z to C. Decide what needs to be done and how you will do it; have a system.
If it means setting up your stall by 8, going to work before the roads get congested, posting on your social media, writing and sending those query mails before breakfast, responding to comments or posting your new stock, every 2nd week. Do it religiously.
Having a system will reduce the chances of you wasting time, doing a little bit of this then a little bit of that. Pre-set times for every task and be dedicated to following these rituals. By having a system in your business life, you will reduce on stress and not be tired of running around like a headless chicken.
Build a system and get into the rhythm of things as early as possible. The more diligent you are to your system the more chances you give yourself to succeed.
