Here is what to Include in Your Own Ads

We all want to boost our business on the platforms we are on but, let’s face it the money is just not there to dish out for advertising.

Thankfully, it is possible for you to make your own advertisement. It must include

An Introduction

State your name ( or business name) present your logo if you have one and in one line say what you do. This information about you is the most important. If the logo does not say what you do, the additional tag line should. This is what people will remember.

Explain very briefly what your business does and how you intend to help the potential client. Even if you do other things, this advert is not the time to talk about it. Stick to the important and that is to tell people that you sell T-shirts, if you sell T-shirts. So, even if you sell shoes too do not add that in the ad.

Less is more. People have little patience so the information you put out in the advert should be quick simple and useful.

Some Instructions

Always remember afterwards to give clear directions to people like to click on a link, share your pinned tweet, and place an order. And when you ask people to act, say exactly why they should do so and what benefits there are for them.

For example, “Call us now and get a 10% discount” Or “Place your order today for free delivery.”

Good Graphics

Words alone will not do it. You need to add really good pictures or videos. And yes, you can create your own advertising video too. It may seem intimidating at first, but once you get comfortable with it, the possibilities are endless.

Once you have the right media post it as often as possible, in fact post 3 to 6 times a week. Many people make the mistake of posting once and not several times. If you’re not regularly posting your adverts you are falling behind in viewing.

Watch other people’s advertising styles on the platform you are on and try to understand what that platform views as good content. Also look out for trends and types of audiences in order to understand how to present your own adverts.

Also, pay attention to the content you naturally engage with and enjoy. Follow and interact with users who produce content you like, and “like” their content as well.

Interact with the community you are on because this is where you will get the most inspiration from.
