How do you know if your content is attracting new clients? Is that post about your new range of products, a new service you are introducing or a post about a day in the life of your business, doing what it is supposed to do?
This is always a question that comes up and one that needs answering every time. Did the content do what it is supposed to do and did it reach and find the people most likely to buy from you? You can find some of this out if you check this
The Number of New Followers
The number of new followers will give you a fair indication of how many eyes you get on your posts. Follower numbers are an easy way to tell if your social media strategy is working because if you see consistent growth in the number of followers then most likely you are doing the right thing with your posts.
Remember to track your follower numbers and their locations, likes and habits and try to convert them into buyers because all of the social media followers in the world will not mean anything if you aren’t able to make some sales.
The Number of Queries
Likes and comments are always welcome for your posts but is your content converting readers into inquirers? Whether it’s a question about prices, location and times of delivery, your chances of knowing who may become a buyer will come from these queries.
Some queries may not lead to any sales but your answer will give other followers the information they need to buy from you so do take the queries seriously and make sure to follow up on them.
Also, make it easy for you to sell by offering a call to action. A price list, a location, a number to call and a time to call that will help secure a sale.
The Number of Reposts
How many people are reposting your content? If your content is strong enough, your current readers will forward it along to others who may enjoy it and share your posts on their own social media.
The number of reposts and by whom will give you an idea of how far a reach your posts have and this should hopefully result in a booming, healthy pool of customers or potential customers.
Social media shares and how often they are shared across various social media platforms is a way that will help you get the word out and getting the word out should lead to sales.
The Feedback You Get
The feedback is always important. A comment, a thank you or a repost about your product or service is something not to ignore. Reply to comments, thank the customer back or repost their post to let others know the feedback. Good and bad.
If you see your sales numbers stagnating, it may be time to take a look at your content and make some adjustments.
