You probably know of someone, who knows someone who made tons of money from getting in at the right time with the right investment. However, in this fast money moving world, the truth is that for every person who makes money there are thousands of other people who lose money.
These losing stories are not the ones that you will usually hear so if you choose to pass something over this is not a bad move.

Opportunities to put your money into one thing or the other do come along every single day and sometimes they are not for you. Remember too that most wealthy people did not become rich by sticking to the status quo; neither should you.
Try to avoid following the herd and wait for things that you are genuinely interested in and you can understand. Whether that’s bitcoin, bonds, treasury bills, stocks, goats or fresh produce. In all of these cases always ask yourself do I understand the way this works.
Do your research; talk to people, read, follow the news and if you can use the products and get to experience things yourself. Also, if possible, use money you can afford to lose because as you know, in business there are risks.
Trust Yourself
Trusting yourself means that you will depend on past experiences. Yes as a young person this can be and is very limiting. This is more so if you don’t ever explore more, learn more or take opportunities to increase your knowledge and experiences.
Make it a habit to always learn and experience new ways of doing things so that these new skills over time can be used to help make good decisions and to make you more money. Keep putting in the hard work to learn new things and try to master something rare and valuable that you can leverage and use to create more income.
As you go through this process of stepping beyond what you know and to learning something new it will make it easier to trust your gut as you will have the knowledge and experience.
Also, you will avoid forcing yourself to work a certain way because it fits the trend but will use what you know and what works for you and discard the rest. So, trust yourself and use what works for you even if it is so different from everybody else.
